Project Reveal | Willow Avenue

An exciting project for any designer is taking a home down to the studs, aiding in space planning next to talented architects, specifying timeless finishes, and filling the space to the brim with comfortable, elegant furnishings. What makes an exciting project a dream project is working alongside the most trusting clients like the homeowners of our Willow Avenue Remodel.

In the heart of this home, we completely gutted the existing kitchen. Along with an all new layout, this dream kitchen has white oak hardwood flooring and Carrara marble tops. The inset cabinetry and panel front appliances add to the timeless feel. The lighting adds detail to the space without being too over powering. We love the subtle feel of the bridge faucet in polished nickel.

With clients who have amazing taste, and naturally gravitate towards calming neutrals - we played up the pops of color in more subtle spaces like the powder bathroom. The soft green paneling and Kelly Ventura wallpaper make the perfect pairing here. To add a more traditional feel we stained the cabinet a warmer hue. The custom Carrara marble backsplash adds a slightly vintage feel to the space.

We carried soft lines through out the home, and custom designed an elegant mantle to center the grand living space. We opted for neutral colors and brass hardware accents. The space has all performance upholstery and a dark stained coffee table making this space light and bright, but also family friendly. The warm wood tones that we used to style the space were the perfect finishing touch. We always say that styling takes a great project and turns it into an amazing one!

The details of the Willow Avenue Remodel continue into the primary suite. We designed a custom door style for the bathroom vanity, and added reeded glass to keep the light and airy feeling. The white oak vanity is paired with a durable quartz countertop, brass accents and polished nickel fixtures. We played with pops of color when it came to the furnishings to add interest.

When it comes to natural light, this home nestled on a golf course truly captivates the best views. We made sure that the family friendly furnishings grounded the space, without taking away from the natural view. We opted for a classic brass chandelier in the dining space to keep the view soft.

Our wonderfully trusting clients were on board for some of the best tile selections. We played up a more masculine feel in one of the secondary baths, but loved the preppy and timeless tone of the ceramic patterned floor tile. The vanity is painted Benjamin Moore Black Beauty which paired lovely with the leathered quartzite we selected for the space. There are a few other stunning spaces we are excited to share with you in our Willow Avenue Remodel so stayed tuned for Part 2!
